as to been covered "SOOO MANY TIMES" where, 19 pages and 2 results with about a hour looking, $&#$% that dont sound like soooo many to me they were all questions on heap of shit FWD levin oxygen sensors and idol problems.

lol, not enough people use the 'c' word when getting angry :)
anyway, sometimes on the search you need to be more basic and specific- searching for 'all terms' rather than just search for key words. Not that you are interested, but I turned up only five pages when making the search spacific and localised into one forum zone.
since Ive woken up early for no reason and cant sleep ive linked some useful ones- all have something of use in them concerning how to turbo a 4age. one or two are about the 20v not 16v, but I felt the content may be of use to you anyway;

viewtopic.php?t=40150&highlight=4age+turbo

viewtopic.php?t=36498&highlight=4age+turbo

viewtopic.php?t=22954&highlight=4age+turbo
viewtopic.php?t=21955&highlight=4age+turbo
viewtopic.php?t=18041&highlight=4age+turbo
viewtopic.php?t=19625&highlight=4age+turbo

All your questions are covered in these links I have provided- what 4age, ecu, as well as a host of other important turbo 4age stuff.
reading through them may raise more spacific questions also.
There are quite afew people on here who have done/do successful conversions and may help out with the odd pm message for further spacific questions (just dont call them c**ts lol) :)

To be fair, there is no ONE all encompasing post on 4age turbo guys & gals (that I can find). Sure, it has been covered a lot, and you can get all the info sorting through it pretty easy, but perhaps we need a good FAQ summary to be compiled. Put it in faq, under the heading 4age turbo and it could be easier for anyone wishing to avoid the wrath of toyspeed lol.

instead of telling people to always search for a topic that is the number 1 topic / quesiton asked .. why not sticky isomething in the tech section ? like ..here is what you need ... you can also do it this way but its not recommended for engine life .. that kind of thing .. poor newbies getting harrased by old farts for asking questions...

or just point them to where the real info is .. www.garagedori.com

considering you've been on here for a week, getting any advice after calling people a pack of C&*ts would warrant an apology wouldn't it.

for sure, if your search words are vague, and isn't narrowed down, the search function can be a mission, but it still gets results.

iv lost count of how many threads there are with those exact questions answered in them

im all for helping ppl, but only if they help themselves.... asking straight out to be spoon fed everything isnt the way.

and then launching into a tirade of abuse when you dont get spoonfed is also the wrong way to do thngs

Warick, it's no different to any of these forums, the 3TC site has one or 2 a week asking the same line of question, event though there are 2-3 threads of the same title on the opening tech page.

the youth of today expect to be spoonfed, it's to do with having everything handed to them on a plate as they are growing up. once they get thrust into the big wide world, they soon realise that mum/dad havn't got the answers to ALL of lifes questions, but expect everyone to handle them with the same kid gloves.

right o. i apologise for abusing everyone.

but as stated i have only been a member for a week so obviously i dont no every little nook and cranny of the website like you guys do.

and after folling your advice with no avail i was obviously pissed cuz i was "burnt" and followed advice of supposed experts which turned out to be like finding a needel in a hay stack after they all basically laughed at my questionso there ya go.

oh and i did go 2 www.garagedori.com and found what i was looking for in about 3 seconds so there wa go,

cheers, drifter4ag

drifter4ag actually helped someone?
hmm..
that would be a first
i second the point there should be a faq regarding turboing 4ages.
and second that the search function is not great. not everyone is a forum junky like drifter4ag
