Postby Logo » Tue Dec 27, 2005 4:41 am

Is anyone know how to kill the Rev Cut for the black top 20V..... Since I plug my aftermarket SARD computer, the rev still only can climb up to 8500rpm and the RSM also can't help for the setting..... The reson is i got the toda cam kit but the power only came when around 7000rpm.

The reason your engine rev cuts at a mere 8,500 rpm  is to stop it self destructing. If you want to use 10,000 rpm you will have to do some other mechanical work other than only cams.

If your power comes in at 7k RPM then your cams are timed radically wrong. As Leon stated, unless you have a TRD crank and aftermarket rods and pistons then you are playing with fire pulling anything over 8.5k.

I think you'll find that the blacktop wont flow to produce any power at that RPM anyway.

8O yes...... blacktop rods are well known for exiting stage everywhere at constant 8000+ rpm.

you need to rebuild ya bottom end for a bit more strength
