Postby tomo1985 » Wed Dec 21, 2005 5:46 pm

I hope you guys can figure out what the hell im on about

Black Top 4age
To the right of the engine bay you will see a Black cylinder with hoses coming off it from the fuel lines. I think it filters fumes or something. I have cracked the top of this so it now leaks fumes does anyone know what the part number is so i can order a new one?

post a pic of your engine bay showing the part and indicating which part it is, so we can be sure. but it does sound like the charcoal cannister. if you provide all the frame and model numbers to Mr Revhead, he should be able to tell you which part you need

Part number is 77740-12660 Canister Assy, Charcoal.

I'm assuming it was a ae111 levin/trueno you were talking about.

Mr Revhead can probably supply you a price but possibly 2nd hand will be cheaper.

Seriously. if CHCH has a pick-a-part equivalent go and grab one from there, only be a couple of bucks and you'll probably be tripping over the damn things as soon as you walk in :)
