A little off road buggy... they seem to use motorbike engines mostly, but I wonder what a 4age or 3SGE would be like in one of these(other than heavy), father has a farm, so plenty of room to "test" one. :)

I would expect that as soon as you came to the first steep incline, it would tip over backwards due to the wight of the bigger motor! Even on the flat, I would expect it would be a pig to handle - a bit like tying to drive a pendulum

Its a big cycle that ends in a car similar to that in my avatar. More power, bigger gearbox, stronger drive train, more suspension, bigger tyres, bigger cage.
My Bunderson is 4age driven, has a Rose custom american transaxle, runs Porche 930 CV's specially modified with moly cages, moly sway away axles, tripple bypass remote res shocks, and nitrogen springs.
Its a single seater 4.5 meters long and 2.2 meters wide.

Seen something very similar to that at the Masterton car show, had a silvertop in it and i recall the specs list saying it had porsche cv's

are they quite common?

Porche CV's allow for a high angle of articulation. More suspension travel results. So yes they are very common.

The problem is trying to hold them together at high angles. I stupidly put standard Porche 930's in the Bunderson shortly after I recieved her. They almost got me rolling before shattering the cage into a million, axle scoring pieces. I now run racing moly cages, polished races and undersized balls (much like Elmo ;-)
