Ae101 Gearbox??

Righto, so this is my problem.

I have 2 ae101 C series boxes in my garage. One of them has the hex bar through the center of the diff/axel hole and the other dosen't.

The one that doesn't have a bar I bought off kinloud,
it has c56 written on it but he has checked the ratios against a actual c56 and it was different, therfore its probably a c52.

The one with the bar came from an ae101 I bought. It has wrecker writing on it, so I have no idea what it is.

My question is this, What does that bar mean? (if anything)

All the searches I have done just give me conflicting information, saying it is or isn't an LSD.

So if anyone knows what going on it would be good.

Apparently having the bar through the middle in C series boxes doesn't mean its LSD. That rule only applies to E series boxes (4AGZE)

Okay, so probably neither is LSD.

What is that bar then?
Just wondering if there's any difference between them.

that bar = prolly open
the open one check out tho (gota lsd thats got the hole though it)
but its prolly open coz im sure ken would have checked
