Engine Mounts, best ones to get?!?

so i need new engine mounts, so whats the best option?

repco?

BNT?

Toyota genuine?

What prices would you expect topay?

Basically its for an AE92 used for motorsport events, but am on a budget - cheers

I got a couple of engine mounts off Revhead, I assume they were genuine? Can't recall how much they were for the life of me, but it was reasonable enough such that I didn't bother looking anywhere else.

for an ae92, i asked him about a week ago, was cheaper to get my last ones sent to auckland and get filled with nolethane, sent them through bnt actually

I'd also suggest sending them to Autolign to have them Nolathaned, will be alot stronger than stock mounts, though will vibrate more.

i didnt' really notice any vibration like other people think aye, definately made a difference though

yip, and how much it holds the motor compared to the standard ones,

Do you know if worn mounts contributes to the jerking problem? I recalibrated my TPS and it made a difference, but its still there...

I put nolathane mounts in a swift gti.

Never again on a road car. Too awful.

so where in wellington do i take them to get nolathaned? there must be an agent here or someone that does it at least?

Went to repco yesterday, The scum wanted $235 for just one of them 8O

i took mine to bnt, they sent them to autolign in auckland, had them back in 4days, depends how busy they are i guess, jsut take in your old mount. could see if there is a autolign outlet in wellington?
