Do Dizzy's leak ?

Postby eritate » Thu Mar 16, 2006 1:54 pm

Hey something was burning on my donor car

So i left it running for a little while just to warm it up... then i popped the hood and there was steam coming from the exhaust manifold

I checked and checked but couldnt see anything until some kind of liquid came out of the dizzy cap

Ideas to what it could be ??

Oh its an ae86

4age's are legendary for oil leaks from the distributor but that really doesn't sound like the issue you've got [confused]

it is probably leakingthrough bearings inside of dizzy, the only way is to dissasemble replace bearings and seal and assemble it the exact way it was.

mine was leaking, so i replace the bearing and seal, then it was fine, then it started leaking. Then I put gasket goop all over the o ring and it fixed it.. then it started leaking again.
