1ggte rpm signal?

Ive put a 1ggte in my gx61 corona, i cannot get the tacho to work, the soarer had a digi dash has this got something to do with it?

Yes, from what I remember the signals change between the digi and analogue dash.

Well really it sounds simple, digital signal and analogue signal but this is just what I'm assuming from comparing them.

Suze on the SCONZ list has done this conversion from digi to analogue you might want to contact her for more info. She might have even listed it on her site.

The signals are the same (both square wave), the difference might be that it is going in on different pin.

Yep that's probably it.
I'm not really up to scratch with signal and wiring etc.

What I do know however is that a wee bit of re-wiring needs to be done when switching from Digi to Analogue.
