A1 turbos had a supercharged 3S-GTE. you might want to see them, but I won't held responsibility on your engine if they blow it up
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

The problem that you're going to have with SC'ing a 3sfe, is how frustrating it's going to be, constantly answering the question: "Why didnt you start with a 3sg(t)e instead?"
Which is a fair comment, really.

I doubt that there's a bolt on kit, most people who research supercharging NA 3S engines end up realising that it would be cheaper/easier to whack the turbo engine in, as you'd get better results for less money.
Most tend to get discouraged though, because it's far more work/$$ than they first thought.

Or why not swap in a gen 3 or 4 3sge instead?

That's a 40-60hp gain just from that.

I've got a friend with a curren with a gen 3 3SGE.... it goes really well, considering how laden down it is with audio gear, extra sound deadening etc.

Or take the easiest/most cost effective/least taken route... sell your curren, and buy something faster.

Sorry I had to say that since we are talking about 3S and Superchargers.

Yeah, Altezzas kick ass. 8)

It's a pity that the 3S that they have isnt quite manly enough to haul them around however, as they are kind of heavy.
It's nothing that a 2jz or 1uz cant fix though. 8)

Nice, i have thought about it but something about an NA tune apeals to me, a 3s gte would bolt right in but yeah. The car has heaps of power up the top end already it just needs some more down the low end, and a bit of an overall power boost. To tell you the truth all i want is something quick i can race up and down the motor way in but is not insanly overpowered

3SFE has nothing up the top. Have you driven a 3SGE one?

These two comments seem diametrically opposed. :P
Are you sure that you like NA? NA is about high end performance, or big displacement, or both. There isnt really any other way around it.

If you're going to go forced induction, get a 3sgte, if you're going to stay NA, get a gen 3 3sge, I'm sure you could find a half cut from a celica/curren easily enough, and you'd have everything you need.
