installing boost gauge in 97 gtt

Postby cynakyl » Fri Apr 21, 2006 7:33 pm

Hey, i got a autometer mechanical boost gauge and not quite sure where to plumb it into. i had a look at one post on the forums with a picture of it but wasnt too clear.
i have a couple of photos of my engine bay and was thinking if maybe someone could highlight which hose to plumb into would be much appreciated . Sorry for the blurry pics, it was dark and i upped the iso on my camera so it would be a bit brighter.

Driving a honda is like being in the special olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded...

i think you will find allmost any non if all non liquid pipes will be suitable providing theres no one way valve on it.

Look for a vac line on the firewall > back of the plenum

Provided it's not the line to the MAP sensor, it should be ok. MAP sensor is bolted to the plenum and had a purple sticker on it (clearly visible in your last pic).
