Apexi g sensor (for RSM) question

Do the small wires coming outa the g sensor do anything? Black, purple and white, about 10cm long, they dont have stripped ends like the 'useful' wires for the RSM. Instructions in Japanese, so no hope for me reading them. Instructions on apexi.com are only english versions of the RSM technical/install manuals, the g sensor is only mentioned in passing in the RSM description.
Any help would be great
