ok its been bugging me for a few weeks now.

as my whole front ends completely stripped i can see this thing.

its on the passenger side infront of the wheel but obviously behind the bumper.

its a hollow black box with no inlet, however has a outlet into the engine bay! :?

what is it?

thinking of runing a pipe into it and a pipe from its outlet to my pod.

any ideas!

It sounds like an intake resonation chamber (can't tell for sure unless you've got pics), if you've got rid of the standard air box it is no use at all anymore.

i dont know the theory behind it, and doubt it would be beneficial to know so :wink:

Dont some of them (if after the airbox, i know this one isnt), help the inlet trapt hold a specific resonance frequency? or some junk....

or am i talking shit again?

Yes, I've seen an article where they tried several different size chambers with varying results. conclusion = they are good.
