Postby Sideros » Tue May 30, 2006 11:02 pm

Hey guys, looking to fit a set of GN+s onto my supra... 18x9.5 rear and 18x8.5s front. Anyone got any info on what I need to adjust to get the tires under the guards? The guys at Mag And Turbo don't seam much help...

Not sure wat 9.5" is in metric, but i have 255 tyres on the back of my car, they don't really fit under the gaurds :(, The 235s on the front are probably the largest i'd go if i was to buy another set.

Tryed to do the cheap put a 'jack in the wheel well' and jack it out real slowly but the rear 1/4 panel looked like it would suck itself in so gave up, local panel beater also gave the same response, would probably have to go to a specialist shop to get them flared but don't know of any/worried bout the $$ they'd ring up.

Hope that helps.

I had ROH Drift-R's on my supra. Was 19x8's with 235's on the front and 19x9's with 265's on the back

had no worries wih rubbing or not fitting what so ever!

might just have to make sure you get the right off-sets!

Hmmm, the offset on my set is right (sit about 5 mm out from the spring capture) and they sit a fair bit out from the gaurd (enough so putting it inside the gaurd would easily make it rub against the spring).

Mr Oizo isn't yours an JZA? maybe the gaurds are a little wider than the '86 GA-70?

But then again, i could have just $&#$% up :D

EDIT: Did a little bit of reading and:

GA-70: Length / Width / Height (mm) 4620 x 1690 x 1310
JZA-70: Length / Width / Height (mm) 4620 x 1745 x 1300
