BOV clicking

Hi there,

i got a cruddy bov i guess, but the sound i hear is clicking even if i just tap ont he throttle and release, it clicks and supposedly opens up, unless im wrong an dmy tuner is wrong. he said that it opens up when it shouldnt cos the spring is too soft.

what effect does it have if this is the case? do i lose power? does it mena i will be takintg too long to build up boost? or loose boost?
