well i was just reading articles, i hink some of the things here are compiled info turned into factopinions... its a mixture of fact and opinion with personal analysis.

i mean yes some are correct cos toyota definately reserached that but i am reading bout gt wings, the one im looking at is actually a replica of veilsides one.... the geometry and the style is a replica...

and veilside has done extensive research on that particular design.. so im just wondering thats all..
but ur right, i mean really its gonna be a priomo car, i want it to look good, yes granted of i race it , it may be detrimental to the performance but relaly.... we aint talking formula one cars here

I recall GT420 saying that the gt4 ST205 wing produced something like 40kgs of downforce at 120kph.

50kg @ 100km/h

If you want performance, then stick with the OEM wing, otherwise go for some added rice

how much does it affect top speed? i heard as much as 40kph

Really why should it?
It should have enough power to pull it through to redline 5th gear shouldnt it?
Gear ratios must be simmilar, my car topped out at 252kph

Used to have top speed days at whenuapai airbase but because of insurance issues they stopped it, take out a runway light and not only is your car gone but so is a uber expensive light.

And yes auckland uni has a wind tunnel at the tamaki campus, can fit cars in it too. We also have a rolling road dyno and engine dyno

And what car was that veilside wing tested on? Air will flow differently off the back of a celica than a rx7 or skyline...
