Now this is funny as hell to read.. Unfortunate but still.

Got a boost gauge in your car first off? If it swung riggggghhhhtt round - congratulations, you just achieved your first freeboost.

Now open your wallet :?

nope they talking about a rangi as bleed off from the actuator. Works okay as ya get more boost but not overly well controlled and can cause some nasty boost spikes

only damage it will do will be to the turbo because nissans of that year have a bleed off valve that bleeds the boost off at 12 psi so any more boost than that will go no where anyway

do you have a boost gauge flynboy? what did it spike to  , free boost is ok but you gotta be carefull to keep it safe you can just modulate the throttle :D btw, i think most autometer gauges read a bit less psi than is actually happening crappy autometer

Dude, I feel really sorry for you.

I'm just sorry I didn't see this thread sooner.

next time take it to a workshop and don't listen to your mates, $100 for a cheap boost controller and fitting instead of having to buy a new engine.
