Looking for plans for ke70 engine mounts to suit 4age swap

Postby 4age_rage » Thu Sep 14, 2006 3:16 pm

Ohk, I doubt anyone will be willing to give them up if they have them, but am looking to fabricate some custom mounts to bolt a 4age into a ke70, was wondering if people had any plans i could follow as I would prefer not to have to buy a set of mounts

yuh, best check the engine - member mount thing though. will probably be 4ag specific.

using a k50 from an a series engine will make the whole gearbox thig piece of piss as well, although weaker

Try to find a AE85/86 crossmember and steering rack.
I understand that some (maybe all) AE70's have reciprocating ball steering so the crossmember isn't setup for your rack and pinion steering to bolt up.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!
