am i missing anything?

Postby sideways soarer » Mon Oct 09, 2006 3:41 pm

i am currently getting parts together for my ma70 turbo auto to manual conversion and im just wondering if i have missed any parts needed,

i currently have-

-w58 box
-7m- w seris bell housing (does any w series bell housing fit any w series box?)
-pedal box
-clutch master cylinder
-clutch slave cylinder
-clucth fork
-manual drive shaft
-manual flywheel

*now if i buy and after market clutch kit, will i have to by anything else to fit that or will it come with everything ( clucth plate/pressure plate etc.)

*can i use the standard auto ecu?

if anyone has done this conversion and can give me any tips it would be much apreciated

Cheers

clutch kit is everything, C/plate and P/plate.
You can use the auto brake pedal, just cut it down.
Make sure you have the clips on the fork and the pivot stud.
put a loop in the clutch line so it can move.
only need front half of the man d/shaft.
Flywheels are all manual, otherwise its a torque converter :)
make sure you put on the nylon cap when u insert the shift lever, stops it from moving.
Yes u can use the auto ecu, just disable the inhibitor.

But i think this is all covered in SKs walkthrough.

All *A70 Supras uses the rear shifter.

You have to cut your console to make the other shifters fit in.
