starlet ecu running a detomaso????

as i am turboing my detomaso, i was curious if anyone would know if a starlet ecu and wiring loom etc, run the detomaso alright???(i will be upgrading to a link unit, but as an interum measure(i know about double handling etc but wanna get going) just curious?????
drive it till it breaks, then upgrade it

is all the engine capacity, componentry etc all the same?

they do share alot of stuff, its more if it will work, ps i sold my td04, gonna get something different

You'd have to fit all the starlet sensors etc & butcher a starlet loom to mate them all up, plus you'd need starlet injectors before you even think of trying to get it too work. Could it be done yes, but in all honesty if someone came in tomorrow & ask me to do it as a paying job they'd quickly get told it'd be cheaper/easier to fit a link.

New or S/hand Link, If new & your looking for a LEM V5 good luck, as I've been told by Link there is basically Nil stock as the LEM G3 is being released officially at Labour Weekend & they've stopped production of LEM V5's to concentrate on LEM G3, & Linkplus G2, still don't have confirmed prices for a LEM G3 but it will be more than the current LEM V5.

If your going S/hand just be careful what you buy as we've had a few now that've ended up costing the same or slightly more than a new one by the time they've been sent back,checked,upgraded & re-configured to suit the application, plus the cost of a new loom to fit to the vehicle etc.
