Postby TOYROTA » Fri Oct 13, 2006 10:08 am

ok i just brought a complete corolla gt sedan (ae92 i think) anyway i got it for $500 and was gunna put the 4age into something however it has been parked in a farmers paddok for the last 3 years and when i removed the intake pipe a f#@king huge rat came running out.
do you guys reckon it is worth rebuilding the motor and also is the g/box in those lsd or worth anything?

Does it start? Chuck some gas and a battery (and OIL!!! lol) in it and "kick her in the guts".

If it starts and all is well (no ting ting ting ting ting noises) then yeah, give it some love.

Hahaha, lol @ the rat. I'd remove the pipe, perhaps the intake manifold, to make sure that it hasn't build a nest inside the manifold!

But yeah, as he said, chuck some fuel in it, pull the coil lead and crank it over a few times to get the oil pressure up (that is, IF it has oil in it, I'd recommend changing it or at least topping it up first), then hook it all up and fire away..
