4AFE cambelt Q's

I have got a 1997 4afe and im going to do the cambelt soon, just woundering if i have to remove the cam cover to change the belt (the cam cover go over the top of the cam shaft pulley)
I have done a search but couldent find any thing,
I have done about 7 cambelts on diffrent generations of the 4age's but not on the 4afe
I am just wanting to know so i can order a new gasket with the belt if I need it.
while im asking questions about it, dose it have 1 or two pulleys on the cam belt

You do on the first of the 4a-fe's and IIRC from the design of the rocker cover you would have to remove the latter ones too.

o bugger i hate cam cover gaskets

specially when mine is not leaking at all

Then just chuck a bit of sealant on and use the old one...

i will get a new one

is just that the last one i did on my 84 corolla started leaking after a year of replacing it
