ae92 lower front ball joint question..

hey guys i need to cahnge my front lower ball joint on my wagon as it was the only thing i failed my wof check on today..
are they easy to change ?
also do i need a special tool or are they just bolt on ?
havent had a look at it yet,but this way i know what i gota do when i get to it.
