Yeah pretty much same thing on mine, did it start overheating when it was going though? Mine is boiling whenever I have a look under the bonnet when my car starts overheating (When it starts over heating I turn the car off but leave the key on so the fan keeps going, I turn my heater on full and I open the overflow which spills its guts in my engine bay). It usually cools down to normal temp quick.

Sometimes I can turn my heater on full and keep driving and it settles itself.

When it is running it does not boil in my case only when I switch off and water stops circulating arround the turbo, then and only then it starts to boil. If i leave it for 10sec to run at idle after good blast it does not boil. Still I will never put turbo timer in it ;)

Hate to keep bringing this up.

But it overheated on me again.

I haven't got round to doing anything new to it. But I left the overflow tank alone and it maintained coolant. So all was good, I thought it may have been an airlock or something, and that it had worked its way out. Anyway after taking it for a moderate to hard drive I stopped. I think the instant I turned the car off and the water stopped being pumped it boiled into the overflow and onto the road.

So it could be what sergei had said, but how often are turbo timers used on superchargered cars?
