Postby 79rolla » Wed Dec 06, 2006 7:27 pm

iv got sum extracters for mt ke30 and i took iff the old exaust manifold and carb today to find that they are bolted togeater
so im trying to figure out if its crutial for them to be bolet togeatgher or not
does the exaust manifold hold the carb up?
does the heat of the exaust help the carb do its thing?

im not the most mechanicy type of person but arent carbs bolted to the intake manifold? they sometimes use the heat of the exhaust manifold? for the cold start.

the carb is on the intake manifold withch is on the exaust manifold

so other then cold start problems it should be sweet?
they dont need to be togeather for stibility or sumthing?

you will probably need to trim the plate on the bottom of the inlet manifold as they often interfere with the flows.
