Postby slighty_looney » Mon Dec 18, 2006 10:50 pm

I have a 94 celica fwd and i was wonder par going after market (iv priced trd lsd and there way out of my budget at the moment) i was wondering if there was a standard lsd that would fit in my 5 speed box, mayb a g-limited mr2 one??? i know jools said he had a ST202 5Spd Gearbox with LSD and Shafts from supercharged levin, why would he use shafts from a 4agze?

would be great if anyone could help out with any information or advice

Because GZE shafts have longer splines, which go further in the gearbox which make the LSD works..

Depends what sort of gearbox you have in there, TRD may not make one for it anymore.
I'm guessing he used 4AGZE driveshafts to fit the gearbox into the hubs.

GTRs have a S series box standard tho, not E series. So id imagine you would need standard outer CV's? Or use GT4 shafts maybe?

For gearbox, just convert E153 to FWD. Easier to find a LSD one of them rather than a S series.

S series or E series box??? A few various options depending on what box combo you have.
