Sell it and buy a 4age one.

Is the engine a 5afe? If it is 5afe then it is easy (on a relative scale).
Do you just have an engine and loom? Or a donor car?
Easy to do - easier if you have a donor car...
Wiring - pretty easy, mostly a plug in job with a little bit of wiring to get the fuel pump to work...

Have you thought about brake upgrade to match?

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

You will also need to get it certified and then you will have all sorts of problems with insurance that you wouldnt from a factory car.

the reason i ask is that i can get a 1500 powerd levin for bout $500 but i want to 4age it and make it into a rally car. so if i can do it, it should be a cheap car.

Yep its entirely possible

if you have good mechanical knowledge there should be few or no problems. engine mounts bolt up perfect with 1 on the engine and 4 on the gearbox/bell housing.

axles you can mix and match the 4age c52 ones and the 5afe c50 ones. If you want to use c50 gearbox the ratios are a bit bung (esp for rally) and they have plastic thrust bearing on the older ones which cause the famous poping out of 5th gear problem (not sure about the newer ones cause I havnt pulled one)

wiring could be tricky depending on what model levin you have to start with. it could be a case of unplug everything and plug in new loom or it could be a nightmare. ill let someone whos dont 20V wiring talk about it, ive only done 16v 4age and it wasnt very bad at all.

problem with s levins they come with rear drum brakes which will need to be upgraded esp for rally.

why not just rally the 5afe? i know people racing standard 2e motor who are wining there class.

Probably in the 1301-1600cc class with all the 4AGE's and the vtax's etc.

I did AE101 4afe to silvertop 20v 4age conversion.
For this the wiring was pretty easy - just plugged the 20v loom and computer straight into the 4afe body loom. All I had to do was cut the body loom wire from the fuel pump relay where it went into the computer and join it to the engine loom wire that goes to the airflow meter (which operates the fuel pump in the 20v setup)
20v Dash plugged in and worked.

I would guess that a 5afe to silvertop 20v 4age will be similar or the same.

The guy who certed the conversion was happy as because everything was factory bolt in (along with the rear disk brake and superstrut fron brake conversion)
