Electronic Boost gauge installer. (wellington)

Postby TOYO-GT-T » Sat Jan 13, 2007 10:31 am

Does anyone know where I can go to a Electronic Boost Gauge installed and mounted on the Pillar?

I know I could do this myself but I am not keen on making a mess of my car. Would prefer to have it done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Cheers,

BC

there really quite easy when you get into it, what brand make and model do you have and are you SURE you want it on the pillar?? Talk about a theft magnet.

I am going to purchase a digital defi style gauge from Driven Performance or get one of the defi style gauges from Repco.

Adydas I read in one of the old posts you have installed a genuine set of Defi style gauges I think. Where did you mount your gauges?

Ive currently mounted all 3 on the right pillar this was beacuse i didnt have the cable ( i thew it out expecing to only have the boost guage ) and for bday got the other 2.. DOh

So when i get the cable from aussie i need for like 50 bucks ( grr ) ill be putting 2 on the left and one on the right of the dash ( where the clock is basically )

If u want some genuine defi let me know, as i could halve shipping with you so i can get the cable i need, saving us both some coin.

Hey lucky for some. I know I won't be getting any for my B day.

My wallets not big enough to buy the real deal. Out of interest how much do they go for?

Do they require a control unit?

Well I won't be going to Repco then. Their Digital Defi style ones are $120.00 I think.

I will have to go with the real deal or the ones from Driven Performance.

Adydas is that $450.00 NZD?, are they cheaper to buy from OZ?

My smoked autogauge boost gauge from repco was like $60 and gauge cup another $12... when did you see those prices?

In the weekend just gone. Went to the Porirua Repco and they were out of stock of the Boost Gauge but had Water Temp and so on. They priced the Boost Gauge up at $120.00 and said Johnsonvile Repco had them in stock.

Yep, the Prosport ones are the pricey ones. They actually have the whole "opening ceremony" of the Defi gauges.
