Sorry, That's a useless comparison. The F1 car weights stuff all with stuff all drag, the truck weighs heaps and is shaped like a big brick.

similar torque engines, the higher rev engine is better.
similar rev engines, the higher torque engine is better.
not taking into account torque curve and position in rev range, or how the gear ratios work with that torque curve, or of course the weight/size of the engines or the vehicles they are in.

Yeah that doesnt work, as if u put the F1 engine in the truck, and the big diesel in the F1 car the result would still be the same. i doubt a f1 engine could move a big truck away from a start.. where the truck engine would do instant burnouts.

I say the torque band is the most important aspect of predicting engines performance
