small port head on big port TVIS computer???!!

hi hi everybody i had just got a small port head with non-tvis manifold on my ae92 and running on TVIS ECU, just feel that when the RPM reach 4000 power drop and sound it is too rich but after 6000 seen to be normal again...so any idea to fix the problem??do i need to get a small port ECU???thanks heaps :D

If you are running the smallport injectors I would think you would be rich throughout the entire map. The engine may run better with the smaller injectors from a bigport. However you will be considerably better off running a smallport computer as it will have timing and fueling specific requirements for that engine.
