Power steering pump disconnection

Hiya,

Quick question.

If i cut the belt that power the air con pump and power steering and drive it for 500k's will i damage the power steering system? Just a hypothetical at this stage, i am aware of the obvious safety factors.

i had no problems in all 3 cars that i have done that to.

when connected ps back up it worked the same as it always did.

just make sure you have fluid in there and you should be fine.

i drove my fxgt for about 4 months before i put a new belt on

man, you would be surprised how heavy they seem
