navara diff?

how strong are these compared to the hilux diffs and are they good to use for conversions like the hilux diff?

i'm not to sure how strong they are but if you want to put one in a car you will either have to run six stud rims or convert the diff to five stud as all navaras are six stud whereas 2wd hilux are five stud.

lol, nope all 6 stud, im converting my navara to hilux rear axle.

cheers man, hae by the way that motor i bought off you, if you can remember. was the flywheel that came with it off a AE92 or AE101?

measure the clutch plate surface, 200mm will be ae92 and 212mm will be ae101

can you do that? thought you could increase the number of studs, but you weren't allowed to change say a 5 stud diff to 4 stud...

Navara diffs are generally borg warner style Banjo set ups unlike a hilux

unless you get the early one which is similar to the Caravan/720 diff. H190 do have good spread of ratios, which is part of the reason why i am going to use one.
the diesil C20/22 diff is another option, H190 and four stud(4 x 114.3) and is the diff i am using.
