ae82 fxgt starting problem

in the morning wen its kinda wet n quite cold my car doesnt start. its fine if its in the garage but wen i leave it on th drive its pretty much impossible to start. someone has told me leads or distributor cap. any ideas people?

There would be many reasons why it wouldn't start. If you think its electrical
I would take a look at the dizzy and leads for tracking/condensation, also the plugs. Test the battery and coil/load resistior. I have had two cars like that one had a weak coil which would only work properly when warm. and a battery which would crank it but not have enough voltage for the computer to work(but only when cold).
Im sure others have a few more ideas? anyone?
