4age Blacktop Exhaust Q

hey, basic question, i got a bzr trueno, and it comes with the 2" exhaust off the factory extractors?- from the extractors im putting in 2.25" pipe, taking out the 'CAT' and finishing with a 2.5" straight-through muffler with a 3.5"tip. lots of noise, i know but comes with a removeable baffle for the WOF. In a nut shell- Is it worth it, any power gains, any coolness gains?
Power is how fast you hit the wall... Torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Removable baffle is illegal unless it's welded in.

Thanks- this ones only a single bolt. Will check Db with both in and out and go from there i think.

as said before remove the cat and get the 2-1 section redesigned

coolness gains.... most likely not as it will probably sound like ass unless you do it properly (with resonators and don't use a fat cannon as you describe) and not just straight thru pipe to the muffler.
just my 2c tho.
You can make it sound nice or nasty. make it nice for the benefit of everyone outside ya car tho
do a search on here as many people have redone their exhausts with differing results.
