Anyone put a 2jzgte into a na mkiv supra before?

Postby Coke » Sun Apr 29, 2007 2:21 pm

Im doing this swap soon....
The engine is a 2jzgte form a non vvti supra

Whats the dealio with the na auto d/shaft and a TT auto d/shaft? are they the same? Are auto tt soarer diffs compatable with mkiv's?

Also ive heard the dash isnt plug and play and that custom wiring is needed? Anyone know about this?

Any info would be mean good :)

I don't know about the wiring but the driveshaft will be the same as they both use the A340E transmission. 99% sure the supra and soarer diff is the same.

yeah of course the inside of the box is different for the turbo, but the casing is the same, so the length of the box is the same, and the spline on the driveshaft is also the same. auto na to auto tt conversion = don't need to change the driveshaft.

going single turbo after the rest of the car is set up for track, after going to a few trackdays its blatantly obvious that for now i have plenty of power and having a proper track suspension, brake and tire setup is going to be way more beneficial.
