Door Hinge

Postby AE82 FXGT » Tue May 01, 2007 7:57 pm

Hey all,

I recently failed my WOF fro the driverside door hinge in my gtz.
The actual hinge itself is secured to the chassis/door, but the is play in the actual hinge itself.

First thing, is it legit to fail a WOF for this?
Second, can I just remove the hinge and get an oversized pin or something?
Anyone actually know how to take the hinge apart etc?

Thanks

yes it can fail a wof for that.
Just get another hinge and bolt it in.

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

As above, should be easy enough to come by, so just replace. However, can reco/drill & fit oversize pin. I have made many over the years.
Cant believe im still a member here.
