pod filter in gtt

Postby gleem » Thu May 17, 2007 8:02 pm

looking at something similar to this, a lot on here always often say a good panel filter will beat a pod filter but this guy seems to think otherwise.

Is this guy for real with those comments or what? would a decent panel filter be better than getting something like this?

lol, how is a pod filter going to improve fuel economy on a MAP sensored turbo engine. The only way it can affect fuel consumption is if the intake air temp is lower, which is not likely to be the case here. Unless the old one was very badly clogged it would make no difference at all.

lol, if you call making a flange and welding it on a "small modification"
