Flywheel query

Is there anyway to check that a lightened factory flywheel is safe? Finally got the motor out of the race car, and the flywheel is easily half the thickness of a factory one
I'm kinda dubious about it, I kinda like my legs and can't be arsed buying a ballistic blanket

I suppose youd get it xrayed or something. But a steel flywheel aint that expensive

Might be a bit hard to adapt a 4AGE flywheel though
I'll post up some pics of it afterwards, it looks like its been done correctly (ie centre not really been touched) but its very very thin

Stock is roughly 8kg, the lightened one is roughly 4
