Leaky ST185 Celica

Hi all,

as above, i have a leaky car, or so it seems, cant see any evidence of where its coming from but maybe some of you have had the same problem. definitely somewhere near front windscreen as water is gathering beneath the carpet on the passengers floor.

Has anyone had a similar problem? how did you resolve it?


The only thing that comes to mind is that little rubber surround on the outside of my car that goes around the edge of the windscreen is a little perished etc... could this be my problem?

if it is leaking there is a rust hole in the top corner of windscreen and/or bottom corner. Fix it (properly) other wise it spread further.

Check the drain tubes for both the air intake (bottom of windscreen) and the air con drain. Easiest way is to run a hose into the grill at the bottom of your windscreen, if water pisses in the car theres your problem if not, it's likely to be as Sergei said
