This thing operates the heater.. CD stacker .. equaliser

My screen isnt working? Wondering if there is a way to fix it or what normally goes wrong? The screen itself still works as the touch screen is still functioning?

Does anyone have any pics of their screens? Or a fix ?

Yeah, it's usually the inverter for the backlight that shits out, technically not hard to fix, but finding it is the hard part with any form of service info being impossible to find.

Can send you a copy of the fix for Soarer screens if you want, although I don't think it'll be much help unless you're pretty confident.

You can cannibilize one of those useless japanese screens for back light/inverter. Just rock on to near importer, I am sure they will give you one for a modest fee. As long as you are happy with soldering iron

It's how i fix the screens on the petrol pumps at work.

sorry for hijack but is this the same problem with double din dvd/cd navigation systems? with a flip screen. it went black about a month ago

Possibly, could also be a break in the ribbon cable joining the face to the unit

yeah still works just no display ... maybe like the laptop screen thing? .. touch screen still working though
