Removing Ae92 Trueno Aircon

Postby toymachine » Mon Aug 27, 2007 10:04 pm

Hey there all.

First of all sorry if this has been covered, I tried a few different searches but no luck.

I'm looking to remove my aircon since it doesn't work anyway, and I'd rather spend money on other areas then fixing it, but i'd like to keep my regular heater working (if this is possible).

Has anyone come across a guide or steps to remove the aircon and related bits from under the bonnet? Help appreciated.

I'm doing the same thing. Went to an air-con place today 'Cool-Car' and they de-gassed it for free!

Your heater will work the same, just wont have air-con ... cause you took it out ...

Sweet, I'll see about getting that done tomoro if it's necessary, once my boot lids finished and back on.

Is the aircon closed circuit? Can take aircon related bits out without doing anything else?
