AE92 FXGT suspension...?

Postby lucasthefallen » Sat Aug 25, 2007 7:19 pm

car is a 1991 smallport fxgt ae92.

at this point in time looking to renew shocks and upgrade springs. any advice or personal expirences welcome. is there a TRD spring set available??

car will be sitting on 15" rims at some stage ( currently 14 ).

also considering a nolathane bush kit ( or something of the like ) are there ready made kits i can buy off the shelf, if so where???

budget around $700-$1000.

car is a daily driver, just want something thats handles better, looks better.

thanks!

trd springs are not available for the ae92 series, however trd shocks are available, probably for that budget best to go with a king/trd combo. if you want to fork out more look at a rear sway bar as well..

well i looked into parts etc further. have ordered some dobisport 30mm lowering springs and some KYB shocks all round, setting me back $710 ( not retail ) which i'm pretty pleased with.

i enquired about tein springs, and was told that they didnt make them.
i also chose the 30mm dobisports over the 40mm or 50mm varients.

now on the look out for a nolathane bush kit, and possibly replacing the tophats as well.

everything will be done in a few weeks or so, i'll put pictures up with other stuff in the Projects area!
