yeah i have to say drive shaft hoop is a new one to me as well.
maybe you should ask him why it needs one

meh.. i already made it.. and it looks sweeet. and he knew my driveshaft was a custom one made at drive-inn with massive uni joints and big tube... he said sorry but i still had to.. basically because i had a lot more power than standard.... even with custom driveshaft... i talked to a guy at work who has some hotrod that puts out about 400hp at wheels.. and he siad yea he has had to put the loop on that car and others he has modified... and he went to freelance automotive for the cert.

oh i just looked at the cert code and section 2.5(8) lists it.. FR with significant power/or torque increase must have it.

The driveshaft loop is a relatively new thing......

Need one for any engine swaps too
