My piece of advice for getting windows tinted:
Go and get it done properly by one of the big outfits who have been doing it for years.
I do EVERYTHING myself and have short arms and long pockets, so have tried all the ways of saving $$ with window tinting, but after having wasted sheets of tint film (and half a day), lived with bubbles in the rear screen, had an el-cheapo tinting outfit burn the hoodlining in my aristo with their heatgun (try finding another one of
those) I am now resigned to the fact that the only way to get a good quality job on window tinting is to pay the money and get it done by a proper tinting company.
The side windows arn't tooo bad, but as above, the rear screen is a prick and I doubt you'd get that right on the first (or even 2nd, third, fourth) - if its a hack/joke car then do it yourself (and it'll LOOK like a joke/hack car), but if its something nice then its not worth mucking around with imho
