HKS SSQ installation problem

I bought a 2nd hand HKS SSQ recently as I decided to change from the TCC BOV I have on our Red RC. Yesterday took off the TCC & put on the ssq & went for a drive & got no noise at all . Checked all clamps & all seem to be on right how can I check if the BOV is operating correctly?

Previously the TCC would make noise if changing gear over 3500rpm but the HKS is quiet.


Any Chch members who have had experience with HKS's who may be able to help??

i have heard that also but dnt believe it, my m8 has one on his slutline and still worked on 7psi fine, mine went hard on 15 and so does my other m8s 1

NO it works on low psi just check the screw at the back screw it out, maybe the diaphram is screwed and doesnt open when vaccum kicks in.

Thanks team, will adjust the screw out & check everything again & go for another drive.
