Wastegate Actuator Question

Postby MrOizo » Sun Oct 14, 2007 9:44 pm

I got with my JZA70 a aftermarket turbo installed and i am wondering what the deal is with it having 2 vacuum/boost feeds. At the moment it is just tee-ed and connects normally to a air supply.

Is it for some sort of boost control?

Pretty much like this one:

Cheers.

Yeah, you connect them both up and bleed the bottom one (off the top of my head). Will let you get higher boost pressures more reliably that just bleeding the main one.

A lot of the time the second port isnt even sealed though.
