Anyone with a rwd 4AGZE??

Postby Mike- » Tue Oct 30, 2007 6:26 pm

ok heres the deal,
i have a ke70 wagon that previously had a 4age in it, the engine is now in
bits but ive still got all the rear wheel drive manifold etc.

i bought a fwd ae82 running a 4agze, ive pulled all that out of the car,
and want to put it in the ke70.

what will i need to have custom made/buy to make the 4agze work in the ke70?

any help appreciated

Hey man hows things speak to rick he has a ae86 with a 4agze in it, and he is very knowledgable im sure he can sort you out. I dont think you will have much trouble as the bases are the same so it should go straight in but id double check first.

it will bolt up to the engine mounts in the car, but all the piping for inlet will need to be custom

its actually easier to put one in a rwd i think.

it gives you the opportunity to get rid of the crappy inlet manifold.

wiring would be the biggest issue

Nope, supercharger hits the drivers side engine mount. Just an angle grinder job though.

I did this conversion about 4 years ago. Can barely remember it though

not easily as the supercharger needs to go between the throttle body and the inlet manifold.

Rick's here.. :D I have already sent him a PM. I am actually using a bigport intake manifold with an adapter plate to suit the smallport head.

8mm needs to be removed off the underside of the gze bottom mount to sit on top of ae85/ae86/ae70 r/h engine mount.. like so.

plenty pics online of ae86 4agze conversions.. will be same issues to suss out fitting to ke70
