Ethanol is a good example, ~110 octane, but energy per litre it is worse than normal gas.


yes thats true that you do use more, but (thats a big but) biofuels do give more torque, we have now changed it in our class and I think it's way better. we use 24.4% more fuel but it's still better for everything. smells good to! :lol:
It's a blend of 15% 'normal' fuel with the rest biofuel. Looks like dirty water.
found out over the weekend that it has different effects over the heat in the air than normal fuel. but everyone has the same so it doesn't really matter.
oh and the % are all off the top of my head, so don't kill me if it's off. but i'm sure it's all good :roll:
