NZV8 motors can't deal with the ethanol mix fuel because the manifold design means that the heavier mix falls out of suspension. It looks like to run the E mix fuels, probably EFI would be needed.

They can run pump gas, and a few of them have been using it.

I think the FF1600's have a similar manifold problem with the E mix fuels, but I haven't heard anything else really. Like the NZV8's they can use normal pump gas too.

$10,000 Fine... (around about) - It's common knowledge that the dangerous goods rules get broken - but there is a provision in the law that says you can carry dangerous goods without any documentation etc as tools of your trade :)

If you're a race driver im sure petrol is a tool of the trade ;)

edit: the law also says you only need dangerous goods docs etc if you are carrying DG's for reward. e.g. if you go down the road and pick up a tank of petrol for the lawn mower you cant get done.

On the shore? Can you get it from Whenuapai?

Not easily. Damn bean counters monitor the usage of our FOL (Fuels oils and lubricants) stores a bit more strictly now.

I thought Whenuapai is a Military zone? Didn't know there's an aero club based in a Military aerodrome.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
