Oil cooler for SW20

Postby Redd » Sun Dec 02, 2007 9:15 pm

As above I want an Oil Cooler for my car before I hit the track and was wondering if any SW20 owners on here could point me in the right direction as to where to get one. Also I'm curious about where to position one in my car any help would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that wasnt the question he asked.

Ive seen a few mounted between rear mufflers (read, they had an aftermarket exhause with two mufflers in a diagonal out towards the tips)

Probably the most famous one being the Phoenix Power MR2

Dont know where to get one, i am also looking into that sort of thing

you could always put a small AC type fan on it and put it whereever you like.

there are always some on trade me, any good performance shop will have them

or even one off a standard car, amateruns one off a pajero on his 400+ Hp RB30 laurel

Shouldn't be difficult to find a thermostatic adaptor to suit a 3S, then just obtain lines and whatever size cooler you deem appropriate for your application.

But definitely use a 'stat... otherwise you'll end up running too cool.
