Weird handbrake light

Just wondering if anyone would know why my handbrake light keeps randomly coming on when i drive and change gears especially when cold. its starting to annoy me and i keep checking the handbrake is down is the light shared with any other warnings, functions etc? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I second this! Also, make sure the cap is on the brake master properly.

The handbrake light is shared with the brake fluid level sensor.

cheers guys i have checked that before but it didnt seem to make a difference...ill have another go tho and maybe check earthing aswell

one of our cars use to do that when you would go over a hill, i thought it may have been a loose sensor or maybe the handbrake lever rising alittle (its rather loose)
